Delete your account

You can request permanent deletion of your BiteRanks account and associated personal data. Use the in-app path when available, or email us as described below.
How to request deletion
Preferred: In the BiteRanks app
- Open BiteRanks and sign in to the account you want deleted.
- Go to Profile.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Use Delete account in Profile when you are signed in. If the button is unavailable or fails, use the email path below. Both methods are valid requests.
Also available: Email request
- Email info@realmforgeapp.com from the email address linked to your account.
- Use the subject line: BiteRanks account deletion request.
- Include your display name or user ID if you have it, so we can locate the correct account.
Anonymous accounts with no email: open the app, note any display name or ID shown in Profile, and email that information to the address above from a mailbox we can reply to.
What is deleted
When we complete a verified deletion request, we delete or de-identify:
- Your account and authentication record (including anonymous, Google, and email/password sign-in, as applicable)
- Profile details tied to that account (for example display name, email, and profile location choices)
- Your ratings, votes, optional notes, and category unlock records associated with that account
What may be retained
Some information may be retained where needed to:
- comply with legal obligations;
- prevent fraud and abuse;
- resolve disputes;
- maintain integrity of aggregate leaderboards where personal identifiers have been removed;
- enforce our legal rights.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and applicable legal requirements. See our Privacy Policy (sections on Data Retention and Account Deletion) for full detail.
